International Agreements

The Committee received a briefing on a number of International Agreements, agreed actions on two of the Agreements, and agreed to consider a draft report at a future meeting.

 

The Committee noted the UK-Ukraine One Hundred Year Partnership Agreement, and the UK-Spain Free Pursuit of Gainful Occupation by Dependants of Members of Diplomatic Missions and Consular Offices Agreement, and agreed to notify the Culture, Communications, Welsh Language, Sport and International Relations Committee of both Agreements.

 

The following Agreements were also noted by the Committee:

-       The Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement;

-       The Framework Agreement for International Collaboration on Research and Development of Generation IV Nuclear Energy Systems;

-       The UK-Romania Defence Cooperation Agreement;

-       The UK-Australia Defence and Security Cooperation Agreement; and

-       The UK-Slovenia Termination Agreement for the Promotion and Protection of Investments.
