·         ask the Deputy Minister to respond to the petitioner’s comments and also to clarify the apparent contradiction between the WG policy to maintain a “restrictive and precautionary approach to GM crop cultivation” and the FSA’s view “that there is no reason to suppose that GM feed presents any more risk to farmed livestock then conventional feed; and

·         contact the Clerk of the E&S Committee regarding the work they have previously undertaken on the issue, with a view to sharing it with the petitioner.
