4.1 The papers were noted.

 

4.2 The Committee agreed to consider at its next formal meeting a draft response to the Finance Committee’s letter inviting comments to inform future scrutiny of the Welsh Government’s Draft Budget.

 

4.3 The Committee agreed to write to the Cabinet Secretary for Culture and Social Justice to highlight concerns around the culture sector in Wales as a result of budget cuts, specifically museums.

 

4.4 The Committee agreed to write to the newly appointed First Minister and Cabinet Secretaries to restate the Committee’s priority areas for the remainder of the Sixth Senedd.

 

4.5 The Committee agreed to write to Books Council of Wales following the publication of a tender for a new magazine in Wales.

 

4.6 The Committee agreed to write to the Petitions Committee asking to be kept updated with the progress of a petition to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza.
