26/11/2013 - Supplementary Legislative Consent Motion on The Care Bill

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 29.6, agrees that in addition to the provisions referred to in motion NNDM5247, those further provisions of the Care Bill, relating to UK reciprocal arrangements for cross border placements of adults, and mental health after-care for people in so far as they fall within the legislative competence of the National Assembly for Wales, should be considered by the UK Parliament.

A Legislative Consent Memorandum has been laid in Table Office on 9 October 2013 in accordance with Standing Order 29.2(i).

 

The motion was agreed in accordance with Standing Order 12.36

It was agreed under Standing Order 12.24 that the following two items would be debated together but with separate votes.

NDM5247 Gwenda Thomas (Neath)

 

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 29.6, agrees that provisions of the Care Bill, relating to UK reciprocal arrangements for cross border placements of adults, arrangements to ensure continuity of care for adults in the event of provider failure and to require Welsh Ministers to co-operate with the Health Research Authority, in so far as they fall within the legislative competence of the National Assembly for Wales, should be considered by the UK Parliament.

 

The motion was agreed in accordance with Standing Order 12.36
