Purpose of the consultation
Since January 2021, the UK-EU relationship has been based on an agreement reached in December 2020, the Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA). The UK and EU must review its implementation by 2026, with discussions likely to take place throughout 2025.
Senedd committees want to hear from the public, organisations, and stakeholders in Wales about how the UK and EU’s post-Brexit arrangements have affected them so far, and their priorities for the future.
The information on this page provides more detail about what the committees are looking at and how you can share your views. All of the information is also available to download as a Microsoft Word document. Information about how to use the accessibility options in the Microsoft Word version is available in an explainer document.
Building upon work they have already undertaken, the committees listed below are gathering evidence on how the agreement is working in Wales to ensure a Welsh perspective is fed into the review process.

>>>Culture, Communications, Welsh Language, Sport and International Relations Committee;
