The Committee noted the Standing Orders that apply to committees, and the roles and responsibilities of Members and officials. The Committee also discussed its preferred way of working. In the event of any technical disruption affecting the Chair, under Standing Order 17.22 the Committee agreed to elect Jack Sargeant MS as temporary chair  for all future meetings of the Interim Subordinate Legislation Committee should the need arise.
