Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest.

Minutes:

The Chair welcomed Members. There were no apologies. Under Standing Order 17.24 Llyr Gruffydd AM declared he was an Honorary President of the Council for Wales of Voluntary Youth Services (CWVYS) and Member of a Governing Body. Hefin Davies AM declared he was a member of Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Scrutiny of Estyn Annual Report 2015-16

The Committee scrutinised Estyn on their Annual Report. They agreed to provide the following:

 

A note clarifying the data on the proportion of schools in follow-up;

 

A note on community focused schools including examples of good practice of what makes a good community focused school.
