Write to the Minister for Local Government and Communities to seek his views on this petition; and

Write to the Local Authority and Dyfed Powys Police about road safety on the A487.

The Committee considered this petition for the first time and agreed to write to the Minister for Education and Skills and the Minister for Business, Economy and Transport to seek their views on the petition.

The Committee considered this petition for the first time and agreed to:

Write to the Minister for Local Government and Communities and the Minister for Environment and Sustainable Development to seek their views on the petition; and

Undertake a piece of work on the petition, including gathering evidence from Local Authorities that had introduced alternative energy street lighting.

The Committee considered correspondence relating to this petition and agreed to seek further details from the Minister on the information gained during the grading re-evaluation exercise and on the progress of workshops being held by the Welsh Government on the forthcoming Heritage Protection Bill.

The Committee considered this petition and agreed to close the petition, given that:

The broader issue had been addressed by the Environment and Sustainability Committee’s Report on Energy Planning and Policy in Wales, which had been published in June 2012; and

The petitioner had not responded to a request for further comments on the issue.

The Committee considered this petition and agreed that it would return to the issue when further information was available from the Environment Agency Wales on the conclusions of the report and recommendations made for the next steps in the s101a determination process.

The Committee considered this petition and agreed to close the petition, given that:

The broader issue had been addressed by the Environment and Sustainability Committee’s Report on Energy Planning and Policy in Wales, which had been published in June 2012; and

The Petitions Committee would soon publish a report on petition P-04-341 relating to Waste and Incineration.

The Committee agreed that the petitioners should be notified once that report is published.

Request a legal briefing on issues relating to the establishment of an Animal Offenders Register.

Write to the Children and Young People Committee asking if they would consider undertaking further work on the issues raised by the petition; and

Write to the Children’s Commissioner on the issues raised in the petition.

Write to Ceredigion County Council seeking more details on the Statutory Quality Bus Partnership Scheme and whether this will address the issues raised by the petition; and

Share the petitioners’ feedback on Bwcabus scheme with the Minister.

The Committee considered correspondence in relation to this petition and agreed to write to the WLGA, One Voice Wales and National Parks Wales asking for their views on the issues raised by the petition.
