Stroke risk reduction - follow-up inquiry
Stroke risk reduction - follow-up inquiry
The National Assembly for Wales’s Health and Social Care
Committee reported on its stroke
risk reduction inquiry in December 2011. The focus of the inquiry was to
examine the current provision of stroke risk reduction services, specifically
to scrutinise the implementation of the Welsh Government’s Stroke Risk
Reduction Action Plan.
At the time of the report’s publication, the Committee noted
its intention to return to the subject within two years in order to follow-up
on its initial conclusions and recommendations. This follow-up inquiry
considered how effective the Welsh Government has been in addressing the
weaknesses in services identified by the Committee in its report, with a
specific focus on the implementation of the Committee’s recommendations.
The consultation closed on 20 September 2013
