Overview

 

Subordinate legislation will be made by the Welsh Ministers and will be subject to either negative resolution procedure, affirmative resolution procedure or no procedure. The parent Act or Measure will specify the appropriate procedure.

 

Most subordinate legislation is subject to annulment (the negative procedure), This legislation takes effect automatically unless the Assembly resolves to annul it.
