Industry Wales

The Welsh Government published a written statement in October 2025 announcing its decision to dissolve Industry Wales, (a body that supports various sectors including aerospace, automotive, net zero and technology).

Following that decision, on 8 January 2026, the Chief Executive and Chair of Industry Wales wrote to the Chairs of the Finance Committee and the Public Accounts and Public Administration Committee. At its meeting on 22 January 2026, the Public Accounts and Public Administration Committee discussed the letter and agreed to invite Industry Wales to give oral evidence to the Committee.

The Chief Executive and Chair gave oral evidence to the Committee at its meeting on 4 March 2026.
