The Public Accounts and Public Administration Committee considers the Annual Report and Accounts of the Welsh Government.
The Committee held an evidence session with Dr Andrew Goodall, Permanent Secretary on 19 February 2025 to scrutinise Welsh Government’s Accounts for 2023-24.
Following the evidence session, the Committee wrote to the Permanent Secretary requesting additional information. The Permanent Secretary responded on 1 April 2025; the Committee discussed the letter at its meeting on 1 May 2025.
The Committee published its report ‘Scrutiny of Accounts: Welsh Government 2023-24’ on Monday 15 September 2025. The Welsh Government responded on 27 October 2025.
