Inquiry into the Senedd Cymru (Representation of the People) (Wales) Order 2025

Under its altered remit, agreed by the Senedd on 11 December 2024, the Reform Bill Committee considered the Welsh Government's draft Senedd Cymru (Representation of the People) (Wales) Order 2025.

The Senedd Cymru (Representation of the People) Order 2025, (“the Conduct Order”) makes provision for the conduct of elections to the Senedd.

The Welsh Government launched a consultation on the Draft Senedd Cymru (Representation of the People) Order on 25 November 2024, and closed on 17 February 2025.

The Committee published its report, ‘Draft Senedd Cymru (Representation of the People) Order 2025’, on 27 February 2025. The Welsh Government responded to the Committee’s report on 7 April 2025.
