We call on
the National Assembly for Wales to urge the Welsh Government to purchase the Medieval manuscript The Laws of Hywel Dda,
that is being auctioned off at Sotheby’s on 10 July. We feel the Welsh Government should step in
and purchase this for the people of Wales and either place
it in a museum in Wales or in the lobby of the Senedd. Rather than it possibly being bought by a
private collector and never seen again by the public
