Climate change adaptation

During this Senedd term the Climate Change, Environment, and Infrastructure Committee (“the Committee”) agreed to undertake work to assess progress towards delivery of the Welsh Government’s climate adaptation plan.

Climate adaptation seeks to reduce the risks posed by climate change, and to benefit from any associated opportunities where possible. In December 2019, the Welsh Government published its five year climate change adaptation plan, Prosperity for All: A Climate Conscious Wales. This was followed by a Progress Report in December 2022.
