Future of St David’s Hall
The Culture, Communications, Welsh Language, Sport, and International Relations Committee considered correspondence relating to the future of St David’s Hall in Cardiff and the possibility that the venue may be run in the future by an external company.
The Committee has an interest in this important matter because of the central role which St David’s Hall has always held as Wales’ national operatic and symphonic concert hall.
The venue has previously received funding from the Welsh Government and the Arts Council of Wales.
