NHS waiting times monitoring reports

On 26 April 2022, the Welsh Government published a plan for transforming and modernising planned care and reducing waiting lists. 

The Welsh Government’s plan includes five key ambitions for reducing waiting lists. The Health and Social Care Committee is monitoring progress towards the ambitions, and has agreed to publish termly monitoring reports:

After reviewing the monitoring report, the Committee raised issues with the Minister for Health and Social Services during a general scrutiny session, and wrote with further follow up questions. The Minister responded on 15 December 2022.

After reviewing the monitoring report, the Committee wrote to the Minister for Health and Social Services. The Minister responded on 4 April 2023.

After reviewing the monitoring report, the Committee wrote to the Minister for Health and Social Services. The Committee also invited the Welsh NHS Confederation and representatives of health boards to provide oral evidence on issues relating to waiting times.
