Text of Petition:                    

This junction on the A487 is very dangerous. There have been many near misses and accidents. Cars come round the blind corner too fast.

Additional Information:

We believe safety could be improved by restricting the speed limit to 30mph or by installing a roundabout or traffic lights.

This petition was considered completed by the Petitions Committee at its meeting on 07/11/2022.

The Committee considered the petition and noted the Minister’s commitment to take any necessary action that the Roads Review recommends to improve safety at this junction. In light of the Minister’s commitment Members agreed to close the petition and thank the petitioner.
