General scrutiny of the Minister for Economy

General scrutiny of the Minister for Economy

Scrutiny of the Welsh Government’s business, economic development, skills and international trade policy falls within the remit of the Economy, Trade and Rural Affairs Committee. The Committee will hold regular general scrutiny sessions with the Minister for Economy to fulfil this requirement. Details of these general scrutiny sessions can be found on these pages.

The Minister will also be scrutinised by the Committee on specific pieces of work within his remit, such as the Welsh Government’s Draft Budget or legislative programme. Details of this can be found on the Committee’s homepage.
