The Culture, Communications, Welsh Language, Sport and International Relations Committee conducted an inquiry into the Welsh Government’s policy, legislative and financial support for the provision of Welsh medium education. The inquiry looked at, among other things, the requirement on local authorities to produce a Welsh in Education Strategic Plan.

This inquiry was led by the Culture, Communications, Welsh Language, Sport, and International Relations Committee, who were responsible for considering the evidence submitted, as well as producing the report and making recommendations. Rapporteurs from the Children, Young People, and Education Committee participated in this inquiry and reported back to their Committee on a regular basis.
