Text of Petition:                    

The use of passes needs to fall in line with the rest of the United Kingdom, to aid the financial recovery of smaller businesses and hospitality venues in Wales.

Additional Information:

There is no scientific data nor modelling data that shows, in any way, that the passes prevent, slow down or in fact, track the spread of any variant of sars cov 2 (covid19).

The continued use of these passes put extra financial burden on already struggling venues.

Status

This petition was considered completed by the Petitions Committee at its meeting on 21/03/2022.

The Committee considered the correspondence received and agreed to thank the petitioner and close the petition now that Covid passes are no longer required for events and activities.
