Climate Change, Environment, and Infrastructure Committee: correspondence in relation to single use plastic items.
On 9 December 2021, the Chair wrote (PDF 81KB) to the Minister for Climate Change requesting an update on progress made by the Welsh Government in taking forward proposals to ban single use plastic items. The Minister responded (PDF 160KB) on 4 January 2022.
On 10 May 2022, the Chair wrote (PDF 82KB) to the Minister for Climate Change to ask for an update on the exclusion from the UK Internal Market Act for single use plastics, and what this means for a ban on single use plastic items in Wales. The Minister responded (PDF 439KB) on 31 May 2022.
