Scrutiny of the Welsh Government’s Health and Social Care Winter Plan 2021 to 2022
In October 2021, the Welsh Government published its Health and Social Care Winter Plan for 2021-22.
The Health and Social Care Committee is holding a short inquiry into the Welsh Government’s winter plan, to look in particular at:
- how well services are coping, including any particular pressure points and areas of concern as we move further into winter;
- the effectiveness of this year’s approach to winter planning; and
- any lessons to be learned for next winter.

February 2022, the Committee held a scrutiny session with the Minister for
Health and Social Services on the Welsh Government’s Health and Social Care
Winter Plan 2021 to 2022.
