Text of Petition:                     

Parkrun is good for the health of the nation. It provides a framework to encourage physical exercise and supports mental well being.

We are asking for park runs to be allowed to restart in June at the same time as England and make exercise a priority.

Following the request of the Chair to bring forward this petition’s closing date in order to be considered at the Committee meeting on 5 October, and due to the action called for in the petition having already been implemented, Members agreed to close the petition.
