General scrutiny of Ministers with responsibility for health and social care

From time to time the Health and Social Care Committee undertakes general scrutiny of the Welsh Government and its associated public bodies and offices on matters relating to the physical, mental and public health and well-being of the people of Wales, including the social care system:

>>> On 23 September 2021, the Committee held a general scrutiny session with the Minister for Health and Social Services, the Deputy Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing and the Deputy Minister for Social Services. The Committee wrote to the Ministers on 13 October 2021 to ask follow up questions. The Minister responded on 1 November 2021.

>>> On 6 October 2022 the Committee held a general scrutiny session with the Minister for Health and Social Services, the Deputy Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing and the Deputy Minister for Social Services. During the session, Members asked questions that had been suggested by the public and stakeholders. The Committee wrote to the Ministers on 25 October 2022 to ask follow up questions including issues suggested by the public and stakeholders that had not been covered during the scrutiny session.
