Public Services Ombudsman for Wales estimate of income and expenses

The Public Services Ombudsman for Wales must submit his estimate of income and expenses for the next financial year to the Senedd, as required by Paragraph 15, Schedule 1 of the Public Services Ombudsman (Wales) Act 2005. Under Standing Order 20.24, the Finance Committee must scrutinise their estimate, and lay a report before the Senedd which includes the estimate, with any modifications which it considers appropriate, following consultation with the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales.

When making budget proposals, the Finance Committee expects Directly Funded Bodies to have regard to the Statement of Principles issued by the Committee.
