Text of Petition:                     

The UK Government have wasted £12million on developing a Trace and Trace APP and it is no where near ready.

Sir Kier Starmer at Prime Ministers Questions cited a German APP which is ready and in use. As we are still part of the EU it should meet GDPR requirements.

The App will allow Wales to control Covid in a targeted way.

This petition was considered completed by the Petitions Committee at its meeting on 13/10/20.

The Committee considered the petition for the first time and agreed to close the petition in light of the launch of a Covid-19 tracking app on 24 September, which means it is likely that there is little that could be achieved through further work on the petition.
