Text of Petition

We call on the Welsh Government to ban the use of "Hostile Architecture" by organisations to deter homeless people from seeking shelter and any other street structures designed to impede or hide the homeless.

Status

This petition was considered completed by the Petitions Committee at its meeting on 13/10/2020.

 

In light of the lack of contact from the petitioner, the launch of the Placemaking Charter in September and the Minister’s commitment to engage organisations supporting homeless people in relevant work under this, the Committee agreed to close the petition and provide details of the evidence the Committee has considered to the petitioners.
