Background

In May 2015, Ken Skates AM (then Deputy Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism) commissioned a review into the Welsh Government’s support for publishing and literature.

Following that review the Committee received a number of letters noting concerns with its findings.

The Culture, Welsh Language and Communications Committee elected to conduct a short inquiry into the Welsh Government’s review in order to determine whether any further action was necessary.
