Text of the Petition

We call on the National Assembly for Wales to urge the Welsh Government to take no further actions on NVZ in Wales at all. Bringing this directive in would put enormous pressure on an already crippled dairy farming industry and the wider rural communities. We are the backbone of the Welsh Economy, No Farmers, No Food

This petition was considered completed by the Petitions Committee at its meeting on 27/02/2018.

The Committee considered a Written Statement by the Cabinet Secretary for Energy, Planning and Rural Affairs together with further comments from the petitioner and, given the petitioner’s support for the Cabinet Secretary’s approach, agreed to close the petition.  In doing so they wished to thank the petitioner for bringing the petition forward and her input into their consideration of the issue.
