NHS Waiting Times for Elective Care in Wales
The
Auditor General for Wales published his report, NHS
Waiting Times for Elective Care in Wales, in January 2015. This report
looks at how long patients are waiting for elective care. The report does not
focus on emergency care nor care related to cancer – which is subject to
separate targets – although it does consider the impact of prioritising these
areas for elective care.
The
Public Accounts Committee considered
these results with the Welsh Government in January 2017. The Committee received
an update from the Welsh Government in the autumn 2017 term and received
regular monitoring during the spring and summer 2018 terms.
