Economic Strategy for Wales
Ahead
of the development, by the Welsh Government, of a new economic strategy for
Wales later this year, the National
Assembly for Wales’s Committee on the Economy, Infrastructure and Skills
will consider alternative perspectives on what it might include.
The
Committee will hold a series of thematic seminars in the Spring term, and will
invite experts to attend.
The
first seminar will consider the role of women in the economy. Later sessions
will look at quality of work, place, the environment and the foundational
economy.
The
seminars will be held at the Senedd, National Assembly for Wales, Cardiff Bay.
The Committee’s aim is to trigger wider debate and influence Welsh Government
thinking on their Economic Strategy.
