90 Second Statements
90 Second Statements
Following
questions on Wednesday, Members may make a short personal statement. These must
be brief, factual, and are not subject to debate.
They
can be used to raise any subject of concern. For example, a Member may raise
matters of pressing concern to their constituents, draw attention to local
issues, mark anniversaries or significant dates, or pay a tribute.
The
agenda item is allocated 5 minutes in total and must last no longer than 90
seconds. This allows a maximum of 3 Members to make statements each week, which
are selected beforehand by the Llywydd.
