Regional Education Consortia

Following publication on 3 June 2015 of the Auditor General for Wales’ report into Achieving improvement in support to schools through regional education consortia – an early view, the Public Accounts Committee considered how the Welsh Government is managing the new regional approach for education.

Members indicated that they wished to refer this report to the Children, Young People and Education Committee, who considered the findings of the Estyn and Wales Audit Office reports with representatives from the Regional Education Consortia and the Minister for Education and Skills.
