Purpose of the consultation
The
Economy, Infrastructure
and Skills Committee will undertake a short inquiry into the impact
of congestion on the bus industry.
The
Committee is looking at the following issues:
- How does congestion affect the bus
sector in Wales and how does this compare to other parts of the UK?
- How should policy be improved to address
the impact of congestion on the bus sector?
- Whether congestion has an impact on the
need for public subsidy of bus services in Wales?
Providing written evidence
The
Committee welcomes written contributions in English or Welsh, and asks
organisations with Welsh Language policies or schemes to provide bilingual
submissions, in line with their public information policies.
Submissions
should be no longer than five sides of A4, with numbered paragraphs, and should
focus on matters set out above. Please see guidance
for those providing evidence for committees.
