Purpose of the consultation
The
Economy, Infrastructure and Skills
Committee would welcome your views on:
- Are the transport emission reductions targets,
policies and proposals (set out in Prosperity for All: A Low Carbon Wales)
achievable and sufficiently ambitious?
- Is the Welsh Government’s vision for the
decarbonisation of transport sufficiently innovative, particularly in
terms of advocating new technologies?
- What action is required, and by whom, to
achieve the targets, policies and objectives?
- How should the new Wales Transport
Strategy reflect the actions needed to decarbonise transport?
We
request that you submit all information via an online portal. This will help us ensure that all views are
given sufficient consideration. If you have any questions about the portal,
please contact the Committee Clerk: seneddEIS@assembly.wales.
The
deadline for submissions to this inquiry is 16 August 2019.
