Public Survey

The Petitions Committee wants to know what you think about the petitions system, what matters it should cover, who should be able to use the system and what action the Committee should take on petitions.

Please take a few moments to complete the survey to help them understand your views. You may provide as much or as little information as you wish. This survey should take no more than five minutes to complete, and your responses will be used only for the purposes of this questionnaire.

Consultation with Stakeholders

The Petitions Committee has also issued a more detailed consultation document to a number of organisations and office holders that may have an interest in the Committee’s work or may have assisted the Committee previously with individual petitions. This includes local authorities and Health Boards, the Ombudsman, the Children’s Commissioner, Older People’s Commissioner and Welsh Language Commissioner as well as other representatives of civic society and petitions enablers.

The Committee would also welcome responses from other people or organisations.  If you or your organisation would like to respond to this consultation the Committee would greatly value your views on the current system as well as on possible changes.  A letter from the Committee Chair and the consultation document can be downloaded below.
