EVENT: Symposium: Wales as a Nation of Sanctuary - challenges and opportunities

Description: A symposium to discuss the challenges and opportunities involved in creating our Nation of Sanctuary. The event will involve the work of Aberystwyth University academics who are conducting research into areas relevant to refugees and asylum seekers, sanctuary, the consequences of war and conflict, international migration, human trafficking, multiculturalism, civic participation, and belonging. The symposium will bring together key stakeholders from the public sector and third sector to consider the roles of government, organisations, and citizens in making the Nation of Sanctuary ambition a reality.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
