EVENT: Electoral Commission reception

Description: A meeting of the Commission’s board will be taking place at the Senedd on the same day, and Commissioners are keen to take the opportunity to engage with Members of the Senedd / Commissioners are keen to engage with key stakeholders on issues relating to elections in Wales. With the ongoing implementation of the Elections Act 2022, and new legislation to deliver both Senedd reform and the Welsh Government’s wider reforms to electoral administration, significant changes lie ahead for voters, electoral administrators, parties and campaigners. We will hear from Dame Elan Closs Stephens DBE and others on the Commission’s recent work in Wales and how we will continue to support voters and the electoral community in Wales going forwards.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
