EVENT: Launch of House of Memories Cymru

Description: Our event will celebrate the launch of House of Memories Cymru; a Welsh museum dementia awareness programme, developed in partnership with National Museums Liverpool and a consortium of fourteen museums across Wales: Aura Leisure & Libraries Conwy Culture Centre Ceredigion Museum Llŷn Maritime Museum MonLife Heritage and Learning Museum of Cardiff Oriel Mon Penmaenmawr Museum Radnorshire Museum Royal Welch Fusiliers Museum Swansea Museum Services Winding House y Gaer Museum National Museums of Wales The programme has been produced in Welsh and English and is based on museum collections that represent Welsh heritage within rural, town and city settings; designed to form a lasting connection between Welsh museums and the care networks supporting older people and those living with dementia across Wales.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
