EVENT: Welsh Higher Education Libraries Forum (WHELF): 30th Anniversary Celebration

Description: WHELF Is a globally recognised library consortia that includes all the university libraries in Wales, The National Library of Wales, The National Museum of Wales, Natural Resources Wales and the OU in Wales. Through Cardiff University Library the NHS Libraries in Wales also participate. The consortia will be celebrating its 30th birthday in 2023 and we would like to take this opportunity to mark the achievements of the consortia across the years, as well as utilise it as an opportunity to share all the good stories from academic and research libraries across Wales and the key role they play in the educational, heritage and cultural life of the nation. The collaboration is known for its ground-breaking approach to shared services, for example we joint procured a Library Management System several years ago and are about to enter the second procurement project for Welsh academic and research libraries.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
