EVENT: British Polio Fellowship - Healthcare Pathway for polio survivors

Description: Polio survivors regularly report there is little training of clinicians in the long-term impact of living with polio. Many clinicians are not even aware that it is a neurological condition and, though slow, it is progressive. The British Polio Fellowship is developing an optimum care pathway for polio survivors. At our event we want to raise awareness and seek support for the pathway, to ensure all polio survivors have access to informed care, which covers diagnosis and long-term management appropriate for their individual need.
Open to the public: The event will take place outside our normal opening hours therefore attendance will be by invitation only
