EVENT: Launch of the University of Wales Technical Institutes

Description: The University of Wales Trinity Saint David will be celebrating 200 years of higher education in Wales in 2022. The Bicentenary commemorates the establishment of St David’s College, Lampeter on 12 August 1822 through the laying of the foundation stone which marked the birthplace of higher education in Wales. The University’s Royal Charter of 1828 is the oldest in Wales and England after Oxford and Cambridge, making it the oldest degree-awarding institution in Wales.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
