EVENT: Uniting Wales against cancer through world-class cancer research

Description: Cancer Research Wales (CRW) is an independent Welsh charity, funding research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in Wales for the benefit of the people of Wales. Established in 1966 with the idea of funding projects with the potential to save lives, the charity funds world-class research in hospitals and universities across Wales, investing to date over £20m in life saving cancer research. Held during the week of World Cancer Research Day (Saturday 24th September) this event allows CRW to explore the cancer research of the future, and share the impact of recently funded research. Some of Wales' pre-eminent cancer researchers will share insight into their work; discussing the unique cancer challenges we face as a nation, and the positive effect their research is having on cancer patient lives.
Open to the public: The event will take place outside our normal opening hours therefore attendance will be by invitation only.
