EVENT: Implementing votes-at-16 in Wales

Description: This policy workshop will focus on the challenges and opportunities presented by the implementation of 'votes-at-16' in Wales. Using the findings from 3 separate research projects the workshop will consider best practice in electoral administration for registering young people, educational approaches for improving the level of political knowledge and confidence among young people, how political parties could improve their engagement with young people and how 'votes-at-16' can be presented in a way that will encourage all young people to take part in the electoral process.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
