EVENT: Type 1 Diabetes Day - Celebrating the achievements of children in Wales living with type 1 diabetes

Description: It has been almost 100 years since children with type 1 diabetes started to be treated with insulin. This reception is an opportunity to recognise both the huge advancements in treatments of the condition, and the huge achievements of children living with type 1 diabetes in Wales. Approximately 1400 children and young people in Wales have type 1 diabetes. This reception will be a chance to hear their stories and to learn how we can ensure all children are diagnosed swiftly and safely, and live well with diabetes.
Open to the public: The event will take place outside our normal opening hours therefore attendance will be by invitation only
