EVENT: Mock COP - UN Climate Change Debate

Description: The aim of the conference, run annually by Size of Wales in partnership with Welsh Centre for International Affairs, is for delegates to agree an international resolution on the issue of climate change (similar to the UN Climate Change COP24 talks that will be held in Poland at the same time), whilst playing the part of their country as authentically as possible. Through this conference we encourage young people to be more engaged with climate change and political issues and consider the responsibility of Wales, both locally and globally. It gives young people an opportunity to discuss the issue of climate change from the perspective of world leaders. Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
