EVENT: 'Foot in the Door' 2 years on: A Celebration: Impacting Industry, Creating Change

Description: Foot in the Door is a pioneering Film and TV training programme designed and delivered by Ffilm Cymru Wales. Over the last 2 years, it has placed over 70 trainees in Film and TV across Wales, developing their transferable craft skills, building confidence and supporting sector growth whilst offering long-term development and progression for participants. The Programme is aimed at those who are not in education, employment or training across Wales. It has involved significant cross sector partnership working with communities and owes its success to a deep understanding of the barriers faced by those who may be from under-represented backgrounds and wish to enter this growth industry in Wales. The event will include presentations from trainees who have participated in the programme and we will hear from production partners who have already benefitted from engaging with Foot in the Door.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
