Description: Launch of Wales Calling Time, Charter for Change. The Drink Wise, Age Well Advocacy Group made up of participants with lived experience will be presenting their Charter for Change, This includes key 'asks' to address the needs of older adults affected by alcohol use. We believe : • Everybody has a human right to age well and with dignity • Older adults should be able to live the best life they can free from the negative effects and harms caused by alcohol • Everyone should be able to access factual and credible information to make informed choices about their alcohol use as they age • Alcohol treatment and support must be easily accessible for all ages and stages in life.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
