EVENT: LeadHERship

Description: LeadHerShip is a one-day event giving young women from across Wales the opportunity to shadow an Assembly Member and learn about how decisions are made in the National Assembly for Wales. It will give women aged 16-22 unique insight into the work of an AM, and first-hand experience with inspiring role models. While women are relatively well represented in the National Assembly, only 28% of MPs and local Councillors are women. This day hopes to inspire young women to consider a future political career.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
